Using Remote Teleprompter
The Presenter
The device that displays the text (e.g., tablet, monitor).
1. Start a Session
Click Start as Presenter. Enter a session title.
2. Choose Visibility
- Invite Only: Private. Requires the 7-digit code.
- Local Discovery: Anyone on your Wi-Fi can see and join the session without typing a code.
3. Connect Controller
You will see a 7-digit code. Share this (or the URL) with your controller.
4. Emergency Unlock
If the text is locked, you can override it anytime by scrolling or pressing Esc.
The Controller
The device that controls the scroll (e.g., phone, laptop).
1. Join Session
Click Start as Controller. You can enter the code manually, or select a session from the Local Sessions list.
2. Editing
Paste your script into the text box. It updates live.
3. Playback Controls
- Play/Pause: Auto-scrolls the text.
- Speed: Adjust scroll speed.
- Nudge: Hold Up/Down buttons for manual precision.
4. View Options
Use Flip Horizontal/Vertical if using a mirror/beam-splitter glass.
