How to Use
The Presenter
The display device shown to talent (tablet, monitor, or beam-splitter glass).
1. Setup
Enter a session title. Choose Invite Only (requires code) or Local Discovery (visible on local Wi-Fi network).
2. Connection
Share the 7-Character Code or click "Share" to copy the direct joining URL.
3. Manual Control
Even while the controller is driving, the presenter can manually scroll at any time to adjust reading position.
The Controller
The remote device used to edit script text and control playback.
- Editor & Live Preview: Real-time text sync with live viewport positioning. Up to 150,000 character capacity.
- Script Sections (NEW): Organize long scripts into scenes, takes, or topics. Instantly switch scenes with interactive section cards.
- Sliders: Dynamically adjust Font Size and Scroll Speed on the fly.
- Play/Pause & Nudge: Start auto-scroll or hold Up/Down buttons to fine-tune script placement.
- Alignment & Mirrors: Toggle Left/Center Alignment, Flip H (beam-splitter glass), or Flip V (inverted monitors).
- Theme & Reset: Toggle Light/Dark mode globally, or jump back to the start of the current section.
How Script Sections Work
Easily divide long teleprompter scripts into manageable scenes or segments:
- Auto-Detection: Paste or type
section[Scene Title]in your script. The controller will detect section titles and ask if you want to parse them. - Interactive Cards: Tapping a section card on the controller switches the active text segment instantly and resets scroll position.
- Presenter Safety: Raw section tags are automatically cleaned up. Nothing changes on the presenter screen until you confirm section creation.
- Manual Control: Create custom sections manually anytime using + Add Section, or delete unused ones on the fly.
